Community Involvement

Community Involvement:


During 2010 Jeff King and the Smith Financial Group sponsored the Providence Corporate Cup, a 5K run in downtown Baton Rouge. This race supports two non-profit organizations: the Big Buddy Program and the Mid City Alliance.


In addition, Jeff was also a team member for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life from 2004 to 2008. During that period Jeff King played an instrumental role in single handedly raising thousands of dollars to support cancer research.


Today, Jeff and his family find refuge at the Healing Place Church of Baton Rouge. By being involved in the community first hand, Jeff feels he can add value to the area which he resides in.
